The main portion of the Photo Collection of the Art Museum of Estonia is made up of photos of artists, their works and travels. Among others, the collection contains personal photo archives of such artists as Oskar Hoffmann, Paul Raud, Herman Halliste and Vello Agori. In addition, there are photo portraits of Estonian artists and cultural activists by the photographers Kalju Suur and Jaan Klõšeiko, and photographic records of several art groups and art schools. The collection also contains historical photos of cityscapes, monuments and buildings, and reproductions of artworks that are held in private collections or the locations of which are unknown.
