Kristjan Raud Collection

The Kristjan Raud Collection is composed of nearly four hundred drawings, sketches and fragments, as well as original items from the artist’s home and studio. The collection was donated to the Art Museum of Estonia by Kristjan Raud’s widow, Elviira Raud, and his daughter, Helge Pihelga, in connection with the opening of the artist’s house museum in Nõmme in 1984. Currently, the collection is in storage in the Art Museum of Estonia. Rare drawings from the collection representing Nordic Symbolism have been displayed at art exhibitions both at home and abroad.
